The Rules
OOC

1) Drama
Don't bring it into a thread. We don't want to see it. It's as simple as that. If we see OOC
in your threads, we will edit your threads with a strike through the OOC information.

2) Activity
I understand short bouts of inactivity from time to time. Everyone has RL to deal with, but
prolonged periods of inactivity are not acceptable. We rely on you, the players, to keep this pack
running. Without you, we don't exist. So if you join the High Pack, keep your butts in active gear,
lest you be kicked out of the pack.

3) Post length
Posts must be at least two paragraphs long, five sentences each. Now, for the complainers
out there, this isn't a lot to write. I'm asking for 5 SENTENCES per paragraph, not lines. In any case
more is always smiles upon, and may earn you brownie points with the leader.

IC

1) Religion
Most of Meiddio is of relatively Agnostic belief. You are free to have whatever religion you
choose to have, just don't make a big show of it, and definitely don't let the Royal Family know
that you have a religion. They're very strictly Atheist.

2) Acceptance
We accept wolves only! And naturally colored ones at that. Most of the wolves here will be
light in color because of the mist that always shrouds the land. It's to help us blend in should their
ever be an assault upon our lands, and to give the effect that spirits wander the lands. Don't bring
your unnaturally colored wolf here expecting acceptance. Each will be on a case by case scenario,
and very few dark colored wolves will be accepted. When you come to this pack, don't EXPECT
anything, because it may just backfire on you.

3) Leaving
Only those in a Secundus or strict followers of the High Pack may leave the Oasis. Those in
a Militus, or those that choose to be a Peregrinus may never enter the Oasis, unless it is one member
of a Militus that seeks their Militus to become a Secundus.

If you leave Altus Sarcina all together, don't come back. We don't tollerate traitors.

4) Obey Your Superiors
The pack just won't work if lower ranked members mouth off and go against the leaders. If
your character has no respect for authority then the High Pack really isn’t the place for him/her.
This pack is all about loyalty and trust among it’s members.

5) Alliances
We are open to alliances, but you must clearly state your intent when you call to us, or we
will think you are intruding. Include your intent in your title, and your first IC post. Your terms must
also be acceptable, or you will not get the alliance you were hoping for.

6) Ranks
Ranks are not attainable, both IC and OOC, through begging. If you beg, I'll be more likely to
make your character an Omega, and refuse to give your character a higher rank. You must EARN your
rank like everyone else does through activity, and your characters hard work to keep the pack going.
You MAY, kindly state a rank that you had in mind, as long as you only state it once. This will be
used in future decisions for your character's rank.

7) Mating
Only those ranked within the same legion will be allowed to mate with the intent of reproduction.

8] Illegitimate Pups
Though they are not killed, they will become the lowest of the low. They will not have any outside
contact, and they will have a tougher time climbing the social ladder. Pray that the Royal Family shows
mercy on them once you're gone.

9) Fighting
Fighting only occurs under three circumstances: war, sparring for a rank, or challenging for a place
in the Royal line.
War - If we have war, everyone will be expected to help. This means that you'd better know how to
fight with a character ICly. If you need any help with this, feel free to contact the current Leader, or one of
the staff members.
Rank - If you've challenged another member for a rank, you will be called for a spar. This is a no-kill way
of fighting that will still determine who the best fighter is. The winner gets the rank, the loser gets demoted.
Royal Challenge - If you challenge for a spot in the Royal Family, expect to fight the Royal Family and their
body guard (if they have any), or the warriors of the pack.

10) Killing
The High Pack is no consent, meaning other characters don't need permission if they want to kill
your character. This doesn't mean that they can run around killing everyone, but if they catch you breaking
the rules, they have all rights to attack with the intent to kill. Infractions may include:

Malicious intent toward the Royal Family - self explanatory. We don't want anyone threatening the leader(s).
Rape - we don't want any bastard pups running around, messing up the gene pool.
Treason - if you betray the pack, you're as good as dead anyways.
Intruding - you have no intents of acceptance. Get out now before we catch you.
Breaking any of the rules - in general, if you don't follow the rules, you aren't welcome here.
