| LandThis is the land we reside in. You would do well to know the layout for RP purposes. There aren't a whole lot of trees in the territory. Since they're scattered around, and aren't shown on the map, use your imagination as to where they are. Common Dens - This is the area where all normal members of the pack sleep and birth their pups. Royal Family may choose to stay here, but they aren't required to.Royal Family and Royal Guard Dens - The Royal Family dens are where the Royal Family sleeps and birth their pups. Their dens are surrounded by those of the Royal Guard.Shrine - A massive rock structure where the pack has it's ceremonies and rituals. When those aren't in session, this is just a place where one can go to feel close to his/her God(s) and to pray.Small Game Hunting Area - You can go here to hunt small game such as rabbits and birds. The hours for this are all day and even into the night. You are allowed to keep what you catch unless otherwise stated by the High Priest and Priestess.Hot Springs - Come here to relax in the pools of simmering water. Contrary to their name, these springs are filled with cool water during the summer, but contain warm to hot water in the winter.Fishing Line - If you feel the need to have fish for a meal, come to the fishing line. This area is where the fish are the most abundant, and fishing is relatively easy. The species of fish catch-able is listed below.Prisoner Hold and Dens - This is where those that have betrayed the pack are held until a fate is decided. Enemies that cross into the territory are also held here until the ransom is met, or they are killed. The Guards go in four shifts, each for six hours, containing five members each.Large Game Hunting Area - Come here to hunt for large game such as boar, deer, elk, and bear. These areas are open from daybreak to dusk. All prey caught here must be brought back for the pack to consume together.Sacred Chasm - A cave in the side of the mountain. It is surrounded by hills, and thus difficult to find. You must get an Alpha's permission to go to the Sacred Chasm, for there are unknown dangers lurking within. It is believed that if you make it to the main chamber unscathed, you will have an encounter with a Deity, and receive gifts from said Deity. Many old artifacts can be found here. The Pit - The pit is the place for spars pertaining to ranks, challenges pertaining to honor, and fights pertaining to crimes take place. The Arenas - The arenas are only used when the pack hosts its annual Games. On the far side of the territory, most don't come to this area unless the Games are in session. These are friendly competitions between packs. During this time, there is no fighting or hostilities toward Sophiax and the packs participating in the Games. | |

Spring February - April
Spring is the best time for mothers to birth their pups. The land is rich with prey and life is starting to bloom again. Flowers bring bees, which in turn brings birds, and other such animals that he wolves can hunt. Light spring showers are common during the spring, making the grass grow green, bringing the larger game to the territory.
Summer May - July
Summer is the second best time for mothers to birth their pups. Prey is growing less abundant during the day, and stays out more at night, making the hunting conditions for the wolves the best at night. Grasses turn stiff until monsoon season, when heavy torrential rains pour down upon the lands, often ending with floods.
Fall August - October
Fall is the beginning of cooler temperatures throughout Sophiax. Prey starts to fatten up for the winter and leave, making hunting difficult. The leaves turn brilliant shades of reds and oranges, and the grass and shrubs begin to loose their color. Most plants turn brown by the middle of October. Rain storms are few and far between during the last half of fall.
Winter November - January
The winter's in Sophiax are rarely light. Snow falls almost everyday during the winter, covering every inch of the land. Most prefer to have a diurnal schedule during this time, since the temperatures during the day are usually around 20° Fahrenheit, whereas at night, they're around -10° F. The prey is scarce during this season, and the only animals that do come out are elk, deer, and pronghorn. Even though that sounds like a decent amount of prey for the winter, they're excursions into the territory are very few and far between due to the water being frozen. The lake freezes over with ice four inches thick in good places, and three feet thick in the worst places.
Overall
Sophiax is the most bipolar territory in the area. The summers are hot, but the winters are harsh and unforgiving. It takes a strong wolf to live in the territory year round.
