Lust
These couples are mated strictly for breeding purposes. They are seen as having the best traits to be passed down to the pups they will bear.

Love
These couples have asked for permission to mate from the Second Empress. They can mate regardless of what the pups may look like, though the pups are at the mercy of the Empresses once they are born.

Pup Categories of Aralla

Accepted
Pups not born into the pack. For one reason or another, they went through acceptance and the Guard saw them fit to join. They are neither respected nor hated.

Lust
Pups produced from mates in the Lust category. These pups maintain this status until they reach one year of age, when they get promoted to the rank of Apprentice. More highly respected than the pups born into the Love category.

Love
Pups produced from mates in the Love category. These pups maintain this status until they reach one year of age, when they get promoted to the rank of Apprentice. Respected less than the pups born into the category of Lust, but more highly respected than the Accepted pups.

Temptation
The pups with less than desirable qualities. These pups are at the mercy of the Empresses, and very few pups placed in this category survive past a week of age. These pups don't gain any respect, and are often seen as scum of the earth.
